Got my blessing....Now What?!?!

I posted this statement on my FB today and it got me thinking. Have you ever asked God for a blessing and when you get you act like you were entitled to it. I'm super guilty of this. Often times I'll do all the work that getting the blessing requires and as soon as it's in my hands I go sit back down. Which would say to those who don't believe in God or that he really isn't as great as we say he is.

Let me backtrack just a little. So you're wondering what I mean by not continuing to do the work that got you the blessing. Here's an example: Kobe Bryant does work outs and practices all off season so he can be the best player he can possibly be during the season. When the season comes he works out just as hard to maintain and also get better. Imagine him getting to game 7 of the NBA finals and decides he doesn't want to play for the championship.

It's the same thing with receiving blessings. God we are blessed with things so we can bless others. Not to just sit around and do nothing. Lately God has really been showing for me and I've been so energetic about it. I"m on a mission to not rest and put these blessings to work. Which is part of the reason I'm back on my blog game.

I'm not sure if this is all making sense to you write now but hit me up and we can start some dialogue about it. Basically what I'm trying to say is do something with your good fortune. Help someone, use it to better your situation, get rid of it (in a positive way) trust me it will come back to you! Take a second to think about what you just read and how to apply it to your life! Let's get better as individuals! I'm ready....Let's Get It!
